curiosity colosseum rome
Recently they have been opened to the public underground and the third floor, which is the 3rd balcony of the spectators. The underground remained buried for a long time from the end of the fifth century without ever undergoing big changes. This is therefore one of the most authentic areas of the Coliseum. From the third floor, which actually looks like a terrace, the glance from across the arena and, to the outside, the area of the Imperial Forum and the Palatine. Here it is also the only preserved tunnel integrates in its original look with a lot of plaster, paneling and skylights.
